Katherine Tomlinson

Katherine Tomlinson is a former reporter who prefers making things up. A Pushcart Prize nominee, she is the author of several collections of short fiction and the winner of “Best First” from the Short Fiction Writers Guild. She has edited several anthologies for charity, including Nightfalls, Stranger in a Strange Land, Death in the Drowned Lands, and Once Upon a Fact. She writes fiction under her own name as well as using the pen names Katia Kozar, Kat Parrish, and USA Today bestselling author Katherine Moore. She is a screenwriter and producer whose film Retiring Tatiana won the “Audience Award” at the Pan-African Film Festival of 2000. Her film One Under the Sun premiered at Cannes in 2017. She is currently writing a children’s fantasy film. An Army brat and inveterate traveler, she currently lives in Portugal.
